WRESTLER MADE

This business was born in the pandemic, out of boredom, necessity & the idea of an 8 yr old. We started on the patio area of our small apartment, with 2 whole tools. With each sale we upgraded equipment, learned, and grew.

We are 2 wrestling coaches who were World Team members (USA & Serbia) until the pandemic our only source of income was all things wrestling; camps, clinics, singlets etc. 

One day spring of 2020, Miljan made a porch swing out of a pallet, much to Jessica's budgetary dismay we spent money on rope to hang the swing- he insisted we give the kid a little joy and outdoor time. A neighbor saw it and asked if we sell them...we thought it was crazy, but threw it on FB marketplace that night. 

We have been busy every day since then and now have hundreds of happy customers nationwide enjoying their outdoor space with bed size porch swings!

In 6 mos we made enough swings to save for a downpayment on a house, with time left on our apt lease we stumbled into becoming AirBnb hosts, then expanding into Etsy to sell nationwide we managed to again save to purchase a fixer upper to make the cutest AirBnb. MANNNYY lessons later in hosting, woodworking, renovations, & customer service we still stand, working side by side bc of that single porch swing requested by our 2nd grader in 2020. Crazy, right?!?

This happenstance silver lining of the pandemic has truly been a blessing, we genuinely enjoy making each custom order and getting to deliver joy :) 

Thankfully wrestling has taught us valuable life lessons like resiliency, hard work, determination & knowing how to 'fail forward' that have allowed us to be successful enough provide an unexpectedly beautiful life for our kids while showing them the value of hard work & dreaming big.
